Make Your Next Event Memorable

The Santa Fe Depot, built in 1930, watched over the busy shipping activities that tied Sutton County's economy to the rest of the nation. In 1977, the last Sonora train whistled into history, and the Depot remained vacant until 1986. This is when the Sutton County Historical Society received it as a donation! Through many contributions, we’ve renovated it into the John and Mildred Cauthorn Depot and Amphitheater. It has since become one of the top historical venues in Sonora, TX!

You’ll love hosting your special occasion in this beautiful and historical place. Reach out today for more information about our event venue.
